Firebird owners: Has anyone painted their headlight brackets?
My car is white. My headlight brackets (when up) are black. Everytime I turn my lights on, it looks like my car has two black eyes.
So I want to paint them white to match my exterior. Has anyone done this? The brackets are plastic. I have flexible bumper & trim primer to use, but can I use white engine enamel (I have some in the house)? Also, should I clearcoat, or use a clear enamel?
I would imagine just sanding the surface, primer a few coats, paint a few coats, then clearcoat/enamel a few coats.

David, lol, I already painted mine. You and I think alike, you know?
I just took them off, primered them, and then painted them with a gloss white. Looks awesome. Paint has held up fine, for 2 years now.

OK, this is something I will plan on doing this weekend.
And Zack: They may match the color, but do they match the glossy finish of your paint? Think about it
