Figured out my paint scheme!!
My black car (the never running right one) will be going in for paint in 1-2 months.
Lexus Graphite Gray Pearl Metallic, with a touch of extra pearl.
The nose screaming chicken, trans am door emblems, and Pontiac fill in the rear bumper cover will all be in black.
I'm on the fence on doing a 25th Anniversary stripe and the lower inside of the rear bumper cover around the tail pipes, both in black.
Opinions??

I don't know if I can be more clear. My currently black car is going into the paint shop in about 1-2 months.
Lexus Graphite Gray Pearl Metallic will be the new color. I'm having a bit of extra pearl added for a more provocative effect.

Hmmm.. OK, Pearls are additives, the only pearl I know of without a specific color would be used on white, and the pearl is an off-white milky color.
The factory blue/green chamelion color that was available on the f-bodys is a good example of two different colors. One is a base color the other is the pearl color.
So I guess yours is gonna be graphite gray with a gray pearl?

The Lexus color is Graphite Gray Pearl Metallic. I assume it has a pearl added to it to give it the effect rather than being a complete pearl color. The guy doing the paint does his own mixing and said he can add/remove pearl or whatever from the mixture. I'm having him add some for a better effect.

Thats cool. I've got some black paint with navy blue pearl I'm gonna use on my '68. One more thing about pearls, they can be added to the base coat or the clear coat if its a 2 stage paint. Used to be they were only added to the clear coat but now the industry is changing to base coat pearls. I think the newer paints allow them to do this and the benifits are a more uniform pearl effect.

Yeah, the Lexus is a base coat added pearl.
He's going to be tearing the car down, only thing NOT getting sprayed will be the engine bay. Hit it with a few coats of the base (base coat/clear coat paint), and then two coats of clear on top. Wet-sanded, it should be gleaming. I'll have to find some new wheels next.....
