FF75 Beam pattern pics?

Ok, so one of my lowbeams burned out, and rather than pay $30 for a new stock replacement at Pep Boys, I would rather pay $38 for two new FF75s. I read a few threads on here though, and it seems like there is some debate as to whether or not these provide enough light without blinding everyone else. I searched a few different terms on the board here, but I could not find any pictures of how the FF75s look from the driver's seat when lit up. If anyone has any such pics, I would greatly appreciate them, as that would help me make my decision.

Thanks for any help!

Re: FF75 Beam pattern pics?

I don't think it's possible to take an accurate picture through the windshield with a camera. Video may be able to capture it ok, but I don't think a camera is going to work to well. You have to consider a flash over-brightening the surroundings, etc.

I have a couple of pics that might help you out a little though - but like I said - it'd hard to make a judgement like that. I'll try to dig them up.

Just get them, they are worth it. Trust me.
You can put in some $5 100w Luks bulbs if you don't like the ones that come in them.

Edit - here's some pics:
Bulbs that come with them from in the car through the windshield:

Bulbs that come with them from outside the car:

I have others - but have no idea where they might be hosted...downfall of uploading to ~15 different websites I suppose.

The FF75's are awesome. I don't really have any pics of them either but trust me its a mod you won't regret. I just put 100w bulbs in mine today and i lined my car up next to a buddy's with stock lights so i could adjust mine. His lights were so dim its pathetic. Looks like the battery is about dead.

Re: FF75 Beam pattern pics?

Cool, thanks for the help. I had heard that they produce a very narrow beam of light, and I was just curious as to how different they were from the stock lights. I'm replacing just the bulb in the burned out stocker for now, but I think I'll probably go with those lights in the very near future...
