Engine bay pics with green intake manifold and GTO badge...lots of pictures!

Along with my cam install, I bolted up a set of polished smoothie valve covers and had my intake manifold powdercoated to (somewhat) match the car. It's a deep metallic green with silver flake in it. Under the light, it looks amazing! I also added my other GTO 5.7 badge on top of the manifold and had the fins polished to a mirror shine. Not too tacky if you ask me...

Here's a few pictures. The light isn't too good in some of these, but you get the idea.

Needless to say, I'm VERY happy! I also had CSI anodize the plate of my electric water pump red. Haven't seen anyone do that yet!

I am assuming that your car is polo green? you did a nice job painting, but i probably would've picked a different color... send me a pic when it's installed so i can get you a better opinion.
good job painting though.

I'm probably going to switch the wires out and use side looms, since the valve cover bolts don't reach all the way into the heads, and the bolts are one-of-a-kind.

The car is metallic green, so I guess the same as Camaros. I know the colors are named different, but are actually the same color.

What wires/color do you recommend?

It's not painted...it's powdercoated and clearcoated. No paint here!

Very Nice!

How long have your headers been on the car they look brand new? If they have been on for while, how did you keep them so shiny?

on my green camaro, I use black red and silver... in your case for an engine bay, i would say black would look cool... second place goes to red... and lastly silver, because that would get (look) dirty easy.

I agree... black would look cool contrasting with those valve covers.

Looks great!

Nice!

You guys are making me want to start dressing up my stuff too Lots of pics lately of some very cool work!

I'd also have to agree that black wires would probably look best for ya.
