Re: craigslist find
That car is SWEET but this is def a scam. I almost bought a 35th "SS" Camaro a few years ago. The woman wanted $5000 for it with 35K. It was DEF a scam. Here is what they do:
They will tell you the car is for sale locally BUT they dont live there anymore due to various stories (divorced, work, military). They will want you to "PayPal" them the money and then they will send you the car shipped. Once the car is arrived at your house, it WILL NOT be the car you bought. It will be a junker, however once it leaves the sellers house on the truck it is no longer the sellers responsiblity for it.
This is what I was told when I went to buy that 35th "SS" usually when it sounds too good to be true it generally is. This may not be EXACTLY the same story with this one but this general plan is what these people do.
I WOULD DEF see if indeed it is for sale locally and if it is you "might" have gotten the deal of a lifetime but I would say BEWARE!!
