corvette chrome y2ks
Ive finally narrowed down to the rims I'd like to get, but I still need some more info on them.
I want (4) Chrome 18x9.5 corvette y2ks...
1) This size will for sure fit on camaros right?
2) My dad has these rims on his vette, how do I get the same ones as him? on ebay, the others are replicas right? Isnt that a ripoff for 900$ or so then?
3) Why are they called y2ks? And what year vettes are they from?
4)Where can I buy a nice set of these possibly with tires? I posted on corvetteforum.com but still one no seems to be selling
thanks

1. Yes the size will fit.
2. See #4
3. They are called Y2K cause that was the fisrt year of them, 2000. The 97-99 had "Wagon Wheels." There was one year where the thin spoke on the y2ks where the spokes were a little wider for some reason.
4. Keep watching corvetteforum.com the come about. THere is a guy in my club with a set, but I have not seen them.

If you wait patiently you will find some pop up. I luckily got some from a vette dealer on corvetteforum.com for 1090 shipped to my door off a brand new vette on the lot. Don't get replicas, they are heavier then ****. The authentic wheels are light enough to throw around with one hand. I bought my tires from www.tirerack.com Good luck and get pics when yu get them.
