Hey guys I'm new to this whole forum thing. I just picked up my first camaro. It's an 84 z28 HO. I checked the trim tag to make sure the seats I have are original and they are. They are the custom conteur seats that say camaro on them. I was wondering if anyone knew how many camaros came with these or if anyone knows where I can find this information. I've tried other forums and tried every google search but did not come up with anything. Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure. The biggest forum for 3rd gens is thirdgen.org, I'd try asking there. We're probably 95% 4th gen owners here.

Have them in my '84. Some of the best seats ever put into a Chevrolet, any Chevrolet!! These were an option in '84 so I doubt there were very many.

When I special ordered my '84 new (obviously), the brochure at the dealer did not say "Charcoal/Burnt Orange", it said "Burnt Charcoal". So I was expecting a dark gray interior. You can imagine my surprise when the car arrived with an ORANGE interior instead!!! I was pretty angry and almost refused to except it, but as I had ordered it without AC and it wasn't the dealers fault, I went ahead and took it. I very shortly grew to love the look and have not regretted this "misstake" since. Oh, the exterior is black!
