Clear lenses with silver billet grill VS. Black lenses with black grill
I have a black 96 camaro and I cant make up my mind if I want to go black or clear on all the lenses. If anyone has pics of a LT1 that they can send that has clear lenses all around with a silver grill or black lenses all around with a black grill. Maybe even a combination of black lenses with silver grill or clear lenses with black grill. Thanks! Bcuz I just cant get a visual of it.
Here are the two choices I'm looking at:
BLACK
Black headlight lense covers/black turn signal lenses/black grill/black tail lights
or
CLEAR
Clear headlight lense covers/clear turn signal lenses/silver billet grill/clear tail lights

Black all around would be more stealth and alot cheaper to do.
Clear all around would be considered "RICE" by some people especially the rear taillights, if you care what other people think... (I don't)
Personally I have seen both, and like both, and the cheaper route is also more common.
FYI - Black on the front turn signals REALLY REALLY can be dangerous during the day. (People coming at you can't see you signaling)

Well, I went with diamond turn signals and it kinda goes along with my black on white scheme I think.
Im undecided on the grill but I think if I do go with a grille it will be black with a white bowtie.
You can check out a pic http://images.cardomain.com/installs...58_38_full.jpg or more pics by following the link in my sig.
Let me know what ya think!

I've been trying to figure out whether to go with black or clear front turn signals as well. Now as far as my grille, I have a totally different idea that I have never seen of, or heard of, that I know will work...If I go with the black turn/s though, I plan on using some of those really bright little lights behind them (like the new 'vettes). I like the 98+ Tail Lights good enough to leave them exposed, and I kinda like the headlight openings as well, at least I don't really like the way covers look over them...
You have a very nice ride there Roshambo...

If you want to stand out, more, go with the silver/clear combo. It will look good, as long as you're not talking about getting Altezzas.. If you want stealth, and not as many looks, go with the black/black combo.

My car used to be totally blacked out (with tinted windows), save for the wheels. Blackouts on the front lights really cut down on the amount of light put out. The blackouts on the rear look really good, and the turn signal black outs are really inexpensive and set the headlights (without blackouts) apart. And I've never had a problem with people seeing my signals when they are blinking.
