Clear corners keep blowing 3157 bulb HELP ??
I just installed diamond clear corners about a month ago and
only the 3157 bulb in the passenger side keeps blowing every
1 to 2 days. All the other bulbs are fine just that side keeps
blowing. This never happened until I installed the diamond
clears. Any suggestions ? Thanks

I must have went through 4 sets of bulbs with my clear corners all in about 2 weeks. What I did was buy some hyper white 3057 bulbs off of ebay and then I did the daytime running light mod so my corners are only on at night and when using the turn signal. Over 2 weeks and still no problems. I think they just get way too hot and then they crack.

I am running diamond clears with 3157 hyperwhite APC bulbs.
But only the passenger bulb keeps blowing . Its never done
this before . I am also running the DRL mod . Also when i pull
the old bulb out the glass is always broken or pulls away from
the socket . It seems like the bulb is getting too hot and
melting the filament . Thats why i thought removing the rubber
grommet for ventilation would help . Any suggestions ???

The Apc hyper white were exactly what I was using when they kept blowing. They would be a white smoky color and usually cracked and would sometimes pull off the socket as you said. Change to a different bulb is all I gotta say.......they straight up suck. Its a pain in the *** to have to change out those bulbs every 4 days. I'm pretty sure they just got so extremely hot the bulb just couldnt take it.
