Chrome spray paint??
Whould this turn out OK, if I were to lets say paint some plastic parts in the engine bay??
I'm pretty good w/ the can, so..... if I fine sanded the h3ll out of it and threw some clearcoat at it....

Anything that you can buy off the shelf at auto parts or hardware stores is crap. The long and short of it is that it'll just look like silver spraypaint with about 30% reflectivity.
Here are three sources to buy "true" chrome paint:

If you're happy with silver, then go for it with the off the shelf stuff. All I'm telling you is that all the chrome spray bombs that you see at Autozone or Home Depot don't look even remotely as shiny as the caps that they put on the cans.
