Re: Finally a 93-97 to 98-2002 front-end conversion tutoral

Say- i was wanting to do this to my 94 also- what did it cost you for the bumper, lights and everything included?...

Also- does the 4th gen B body style bumper provide better cooling than the 4th gen A front bumper cover?

The cooling part - no. Neither nose style takes air in from the grill. Our cars (firebirds included) are bottom feeders. All the air for the radiator comes in from the air dam under the nose. I supose with a sawsall you could make the grill in a 98+ function for radiator cooling but stock it aint going to make a differance.

I know we have all seen front end conversions for 93-97 to 98+ F-Bodies but has anyone ever went from a Camaro to a Firebird or vice versa?

I should've got a 98+ and done the reverse........

That way I could have had the LS1 and the better looking front end.

Oh well.........hindsight......
