Blackout lil orange running lights on a T/A???
Hey guys, what are the lights on the front right and left of my trans am called ( the lil orange rectangle ones). Any way I could do a "blackout effect" on them. Think it would look good on my silve T/A . Thanks

Do it man.
Turnsignal 1
Rear signal
Much cheaper than buying blackouts, no working about them getting stolen or falling off and much cleaner look. I have yet to be pulled over and have them on my rear tails and had them on the Camaro. My Camaro was silver and w/ tint, the car looked extremely good.

There's this stuff you can get from a company called VHT. They make hi-temp paints for engines. The stuff's called Nite Shades. I bought some a while back but haven't used it yet.
Basically it's a spray-on black out. You just have to make sure the lenses are clean and smooth.
I've seen pics of them done, and they look like real blackouts, only they cost you the $9 for the spray.

I just wanted to chime in, I have all my exterior lights blacked out. The Front Turn Signal Black outs and Fog Light Black Outs were purchased from www.yearone.com / www.nextgenparts.com, The Tail light black outs are AVS brand. But for the 3rd brake light and rear turn signals, I also used the black out paint. Though, I used a model spray paint called "Transparent Black" that works great and is available at any crafts store.

Since these pictures I have installed Black Wheels, and Black Pontiac Fill INs for the rear bumper.
Good Luck
