SS Hood, Corvette rims, drop springs, subtle red accents, etc.

yeha id go with a nice SS hood, or a cowl hood like this http://www.americansportscardesigns....ages/s-700.jpg

the corvette rims would be a nice touch, some black Zr1's or flat black C5 Z06's would looks sick.

Lowering it will give it a mean stance.

well the Hoods can run you anywhere from what like 200 to 800? depends on quality and paint and all that. But the Hood would look really good. ebay is a good place to browse.

The rims you could find on craigslist or ebay for like 250 to 400 bucks for a set probably without tires tho.

and im not too sure on the lowering springs.

Re: better looks. any tips or opinions?

yeah i saw a set of C5 Z06 rims on craigslist in orlando, FL for 350 without tires. and a pair of C6 Rims for 400 without tires. not sure if they were replica's or not but pretty decent price i think.

as for the z28 badges, if you do some snooping you can probably just find an overlay vinyl for em, i used to know of a website taht does em, when i get home , i have the site saved on my laptop so i can send ya the link.

a flat black berger panel might do your Z some justice as well. have you looked into that?

Re: better looks. any tips or opinions?

those are nice rims but i dont get why i would put corvette rims on a camaro lol. i would definatly black those out if i got em. but i havent really looked on the z28 badge stuff, i just think it would look better with red so people would appreciate it more and know its a z28. butyea send me the link whenever you get back. if you dont mind me asking how much did you get your camaro for?

Re: better looks. any tips or opinions?

Do what you want to do with your car- look around and see what you like and don't like. As far as a hood goes you are going to get what you pay for. If you pay $200 for a hood its going to fit like a $200 hood- meaning like crap. The curves and fitment will more than likely be all jacked up and it will only look good in a dark parking lot for 100 yards. Not trying to be a dick, just making sure you are aware.

Minor appearance mods you can get on ebay all day long- from badging to stripes ect...

Lowering springs will do a lot for the car- personally having had both the Pro-kit and Sportline I would stick with the Pro. The Sportline are a little lower but you sacrifice a lot more ride quality IMO. A set of lowering springs, 17 or 18" black wheels will completely change the look of the car. Me personally, a set of 17/18 black chrome Y2K wheels would look nice. Paint your calipers red, ditch the front plate if you dare, and get a different grill painted to match. Be all blacked out with just enough red to bring it alive.

I honestly like the clean look-ditch the red Chevy symbol on the back too.. anyone who knows Camaro's will know its a Z when they hear it. Everyone else wouldn't know the difference anyway...
