'94 F-1 Camaro

F-1 or F1 was a special collection of items for 4th gen Camaros from Chevy dealerships. The components were considered accessories and you didn't have to buy all of them. Some dealerships would take off your Z28 emblems and replace them with F-1 Camaro decals. The main components available were:

-the same ground effects as RS
-stripes
-special wheels

I'm not prepared to write a section for my site yet about the F1 Camaros, but this car is absolutely gorgeous. It has some non-F1 content like the RK Sport rear ground effect and center exit exhaust, the vinyl/cloth seats, and a lot of the engine work, but man... this is the nicest Camaro I've seen on ebay in a very long time. I'm really impressed with the custom interior, especially the flap in the trunk. And the engine... oh man!

The F-1 Body kit and graphics became available during the 1996 model year.
I have a placard on this kit somewhere.

Let me know if you need me to send pictures.

The interior on that car was not part of the kit.

If you can find a Chevy High Performance Parts Catalog, the one the dealers sell, for that year, it has all the info on these parts.

Well, 3/4 of the ground effects are the same as the RS. The rear lip is definitely different.

DAMN! It sold for $12,500! That's a lot more than I expected! Nice to see a nice car get a fairly decent price compared to the low values going around lately.

F-1 Camaro

Brangeta, I just bought the car from an estate whose owner really loved the car. The pictures do not do it justice. I believe it has every F-1 accessory that was available. What you mentioned, plus cold air intake, performance exhaust, suspension, pacesetter headers, BBK throttle body, Edelbrook intake, possibly LT 4 heads and performance cam. Oh, by the way, that's gray leather not vinyl. She runs as good asw she looks!

If anyone out there from the Lakeland, Florida area have ever worked on this car please contact me, as I'm trying to document the performance parts without tearing things apart to get part #s.

She's a very special Camaro.

If you wouldn't mind, I could really use a nice pic of the GM Performance Parts Specialty Vehicle badge on the center console. I don't have a good pic of that yet.

Take care of that car! It's the best one I've seen on ebay since the Doug Rippie Motorsports Camaro that sold extremely cheaply.
