94 to 98 taillight coversion?
#2
Why would you want to? The 93-96 lights were/are much cooler. I know the 97+ guys often get lights from 93-96 and use them on their cars. It takes a little grinding to the socket of the light housing, I believe. I'm not sure if they illuminate in the same way. I haven't had my taillights off in a long time, so I don't remember if they have the same number of bulbs or not.

If you want the yellow to shine when lights are on, then leave in the bulb.... Or as suggested, you could remove the bulb. To me that makes no sense to do that, then why change the len?????? Or, you could rewire where the yellow lens is used for the turn signal.......
FYI: If you go with the yellow to shine all the time, check your State laws reguarding this..... Texas does not allow it......

I am one that likes 97+ lights better. I put them on my LT1 when I had it, and yeah you can remove the yellow bulb, and everything will work fine, but only the 1 bulb will light up in the red section of the 97+ lights ... when you step on the brakes and when you signal that SAME bulb will function as your signal. So the yellow part of the lense will not light up at all. which does seem weird but they still look good...
Better still ....is what I am now using on my LS1.... and thats export tailights!
