swaping my LT1 i have into my 2002 rs. I did the search thing ino i need trans,k-member,springs,v8 gauges(will i need to change with DFI?) fuel pump,etc. my question is about hooking up the DFI in place of all the harness swaping and rewireing new pcm etc. also been out of the game for awhile n was wondering if there was a good write up on doing the swap. like i said did the search thing didnt find what i was looking for. thank you for your time

You would probably get better results posting in the "Swap" thread on V6 Tech forum, or posting on the "Computer Diagnostics and Programming" forum. Not a lot of action here on "Advanced Tech".

One approach you may want to consider it to use a 2002 LS1 PCM and convert the LT1 to run on the LS1 PCM, deleting the Opti for a cam postion sensor, and running the EFIConnection 24X conversion:

thank you i/ll post over there. just thout it mite be tech cause i have the accel DFI sitting in my closet n was going to use it in place of wireing harness pcm gauge cluster. i didnt know we had a swap section on here, like i said been out of the game for awhile. and i was throwing the 24x around too, but back then it was new and n
