What is too rich WOT/Boost?

637RWHP 396cu.in. LT1
15lbs boost
9.0-1 Static Comp. ratio
94 Octane

I'm trying to get my exhaust temps below 1500* WOT. Some cylinders are as high as 1625*.

My question: Is 11.5 to 1 AFR to rich? Will this damage my engine to run this rich WOT?

Big power from an S-trim A4. Nice!

You will make a few more hp if it's leaner, but rich is safe! I aim for 12.5:1 on the dyno, with some account taken of test conditions vs. likely operating conditions. IOW, if testing is on a day with low air density, we make it richer to account for operation under better conditions, and vice versa.

Do you know the test conditions?

t-trim cogged setup... Think he has a t56 in the car now (at least think he did last time at the track...

Bob,
Drop a line if you need a hand with anything at the track. Should be going soon with a diff motor to try out. (non turboed for now)

Its not just the 11.5 is that that line is not FLAT!!!!

You have 12.0 all the way which I'd stay there and then richens up.
