Question 64cc VS 70cc Combustion Chamber

i am looking to buy new je pistons and a set of edelbrock victor jr cylinder heads but i am not sure whether i want 64cc or 70cc cylinder heads

i dont want to go any higher than 10.1 CR and je recommends me going with a 70cc combustion chamber with this piston(10.3:1) if i dont want to go above 10.1

BUT

what will i experience any performance difference between a 64cc combustion camber and a 70cc combustion chamber?

Just comes down to shrouding. On a standard angle valve centerline you will probably have better deshroud around the intake valve with the larger chamber. Then again, it all depends on where the extra volume was added? Is the chamber just deeper or what? I don't have an answer to that question but that might be something to ask before you buy. Don't know much about the Vic Jr's.
Best of luck.

There are alot of specifics that need to be answered like the ones in Mindgame's post.
But the general rule of thumb is ...the higher the compression; the higher the HP/TQ output. 1 point of compression = 4% of power.
Ex: 10:1 compression engine putting out 400HP
this same engine at 9:1 would be putting out approximately 16 HP less!
