Tranny leak.....

I don't know where it's comming from but I have a good idea. My tranny is not the stock tranny. On top of that it leaks but only when the car is not running or parked. Most of the leaking fluid seems to be comming from the rear of the tranny(tail shaft).I don't know if it's over filled and pouring out or if a seel is gone. When I check the fluids the car says full. But the pavement says otherwise. Seems to drive fine but take a little longer to shift so I know it's losing fluid. Can anyone give me an idea as to what to look for ?

Yeah, I'm working on that but the fluid is clean that leaks so that's a good sign. She shifts fine just has no real pressure behind it.

Re: Tranny leak.....

A seal puller is always good, and when putting the seal back in try and find a socket the same diameter as the seal to tap it in.
