tpi no start!
the daily drivers acting up on me, its not a 3rd gen, its an 85 k20 chevy pickup with tpi fuel injection/ complete harness out of a 1990 camaro so im hoping someone can help;
screwdriver test reveals im getting a spark to the plugs
10 gals of fuel in tank
fuel is pumping out of the inline pump when line is disconnected
tried 2 different working fuel pumps
when schrader valve is depressed, fuel comes out, but it dosent seem to be under very much pressure, perhaps not as much as it should
i backed the truck up my driveway and shut it off and 3 hours later no start, didint touch anything. im considering blaming the fuel pressure regulator(?) other then that im pretty much outta ideas, any 3rd gen wizards care to share thier knowledge? im really in a pickle here,

You have to test pressure or else you may be led down the wrong path. e.g., you might have no fuel to cylinders, but it might be due to injectors not being pulsed; wiring or computer. IIRC, there is a wire that goes from distributor to ECM. No signal there, no pulsing.
To see if it is fuel, throw a little gas in there and see if it starts. If it does, tells you it is fuel. Test pressure and injectors to see if they are being pulsed.
If not, might be spark. You need a good spark and it needs to be timed properly. You say it has spark, but is it a nice healthy spark? I once bought a nice 89 Formula 350 for 700 off the asking due to a bad module. I had test driven it and it ran like a champ, but when I went back later, guy said it wouldn't start.
I told him I'd tow it off if he's take 4k vs his 4.7 asking. He said ok, got it home, pressure/pulsing was ok, it had spark, but it was kind of weak looking. Took module to Autozone, he gave me the "bad news"... bad module. I "sadly" paid the $35, installed it, was cruising around in my new ride in minutes. :-)
