i wanted to get the formula hood and i was wondering will it bolt right up in place of the stock hood on my 89 trans am gta. and does any body have pictures of what it looks like.

Yes, it will bolt right on but you will have to spend some time aligning it front-to-back and most importantly- diagonally. This last one is best done by checking it's alignment a few inches before it latches onto the center striker. Once it hits the center striker it will be forcibly centered-up by it. You want to make sure it's centered even before it hits the striker so it's not trying to be twisted on it's hinges as it goes down to latch the last few inches.

What will it look like? Well, kinda like a GTA for a Formula hood on it. Sorta medium-badass looking in my book.
