Re: Temp guage

You indicated you have 12V at the sensor connector. Is that the connector you feel is the problem? Is it an intermittent problem?

Re: Temp guage

When running the volt meter from ground to the sensor the ohms reading showed up perfectly in accordance with the shbox chart intermittently. I've ordered the sensor and some shrink wrap and will be replacing the pigtail in the next few days. I really appreciate your assistance!

Thanks so much

P.E.D. means Packard Electrical Division, now a part of Delphi Automotive Systems, which makes the connectors for GM cars.

Re: Temp guage - SOLVED

a new harness connector has solved this issue.

Next up.. the annoying Airbag light wont go off now... I recently changed all my interior and gauge bulbs to LEDs.. maybe that is the issue.

I will search the forums for more information on this.

Thanks for the the help with this temp gauge issue that is now SOLVED

Re: Temp guage

Since the airbag problem appears to be on your 4th Gen 93, I would recommend you start a new thread on the "General 67-02 F-Body Tech" forum. Not likely to get a lot of help on the 3rd Gen engine tech forum.
