Paintless dent removal or new roof skin?

Paintless dent removal or new roof skin?
I got some hail damage recently and plan on replacing the hood with a 3" cowl. The roof is another story, it is damaged pretty bad. I could either take it by a paintless dent removal place or drop it off at a bodyshop and get another roof skin put on it. What do you guys think would be the better option? If the dent removal place can repair the roof, it might be cheaper than a body shop visit. What do you guys think?

It's probably a 50/50 thing ,first do you have ,or is the insurance paying for the repair? If so you might go to the bodyshop ,I would call around first and check out the paintless places they can do very good work ,but can also be on the expensive side. The best plan would be to get estimates and then decide what shop ,and what manager you liked the best.

If you have a hardtop and the dents don't have creases or ripples the dent repair guys should have no trouble hooking you up. Once the headliner is removed (fairly easy), you have good access to most of the roof. But be warned, you might still have very faint ripples in the panel. Once dented, the metal has been stretched. It is a MUCH cheaper alternative to a new roof though!
