Hi I'm new to the site and just picked up a 92 Z-28. I'm trying to locate the tags so that I can find the options the car came with. Can someone help me locate the tags?

The car had a 350 5 speed and the owner told me this was a special order car with the 5 speed. I don't believe him since I know they came with 350 auto only. Either way I have the perfect combo.


I've had a 98 SS Camaro, a 79 Z-28 396 car, and a 69 Camaro 454.

Look under the console lid all the rpo codes are in there.

I looked under the arm rest lid, console and there is nothing there. Could I find the codes anywhere else?

Might try the glove box in the rear hatch if not there someone might have removed them.

If you can't find the tags in the center console, you could order the GM vehicle package. It is free and it takes about a week to arrive at your house. The package contains all information about your car from when it was manufactured.
