Lt1 intake on L98

I'm a new owner of a 1989 IROC t-tops w/ the L98. Icurrently going through all fluid changes and inspecting everything. This board is a great tool. A freind is giving me an intake off a LT1. Is there a thread I haven;t found on a step by step mod to port and swap intakes?

Do Long tubes and a cutout or catback, a nice 25-2700 stall. The LT1 intake isn't worth doing until you have some heads and a cam. The intake flows okay, but the heads don't. You will gain some HP but not nearly enough to justify the time and money spent.

If you want to swap manifolds, you'd be better off using a Holley Stealth Ram.
