L98, LTx, or LSx, simplest to install on '87 IROC?

I blew a piston in the 305 on my '87 IROC, manual transmission. A while back I had already decided on swapping for a 350, guess it's happening a lot sooner. I need to know which of the three mentioned is the best option in terms of total cost (cheapest) and the amount of work/modifications that will need to be done (simplest), maybe a brief list of what they will be, like wiring, fuel system, etc. All I know is that I'll have to swap the T5 as well, probably to a T56. Speed/hp isn't a top priority (at this moment), I'll focus on that later on. Thanks in advance!

Do you intend to run stock fuel injection, or swap to a carb?

I intend on keeping the TPI, running stock fuel injection. I feel like the least changes I do, the simpler

Then you have no choice but the L98. The LT1 and the LS1 have radically different ignition systems.

Would AutoZone or O'Reilly be a reliable option to get the engine? I know they're refurbished and have 3 yr. warranty

Or even this engine? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/na...7353/overview/

http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...FdcegQodxdcKsQ

Both links are the same engine, but thought one might be further detailed than the other.
My only other alternative is http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...ing-accessory/
