Cool Just scored some headers!

I finally got a good deal on some edelbrock TES headers with y-pipe on ebay for $140! These should help wake my lg4 up Anybody have recomendations for what gaskets and bolts I should use?

Is it hard to install headers? Im sure I can do it but I always get worried I will mess something up How long should it take? Any advice and tips would be great!

Percy's or Mr. Gasket copper are good don't use the paper kind,Stage 8 bolts are nice because they lock.

I dont think so. These were used for a year thats why I got them so cheap. It would be nice to get a new set but it sucks being on a college budget.

lordmetal, I hope I dont snap those bolts either. It doesnt help that my car is 20 years old lol. I will make sure to soak those puppies down good!

It doesn't matter if it is new or not. In 6 months, it will look old even if you had a new set. These are not wear items so unless there are scrapes and holes or dents, I would not worry.

Also, something else you can do is clean the treads with a tap and then use some anti-sieze to lube them up. That way, it will minimize the chances of a snapped bolt. Also a new good set is not a bad idea.
