Dude, thats friggin nasty. It still amazes me how people can let their cars get like that, except if they were wrecked.

The GTA is long gone. It was a project car, but someone left the door ajar for a week while I was away and it rained which ruined the interior. I lost all interest after that. The engine and tranny will live on in that little blue and white S10 as a 383 with nitrous.

That looks like it could be fun in your S-10..one of these days I'm going to get around to putting an LT1/T-56 in a 94-95 S-10 SS just for ***** and giggles.

Nothing wrong with the TA at the moment, aside from a little programming issue. I've still go the forged, low compression 383 rotating assembly and the LT1 block (it's the one behind the engine stand). Brent still has my spare set of heads and intake that he hasn't touched yet. I think I'm about to give up on him doing any work to them this year. Who knows. One day there will be a turbo hanging from a killer 383 in the car, till then I'll have to play with the truck. Maybe I'll even come up with some cash and have him convert the 18* Brodix heads he has to reverse cooling and run them for some serious times.

You order any of your stuff yet?

I like that idea...

Haven't ordered anything yet -- The turbo AWD bug has bit and I've been looking at WRXs's/EVO's like crazy trying to decide if I want to dump my money into the TA or get an EVO next year....

If I do though, I'll be ordering plugs, LT4 KM, vinyl stuff from Brent Franker, and chrome lug nuts. Also some kind of CAI if I can find a good used deal. Then headers in 2wks.

Have you got the wiring figured out for your truck yet? Going to modify a L98 harness or what? That's going to be fun....heh.

Re: How's this for a 3rd Gen engine?

You don't want a turbo 4 banger. Too much money to make them really fast. Go look at a PTK turbo kit for the TA instead. Much more fun.

I've got most of the wiring planned out. I'm going to use the stock key to lock the steering column, and a rocker switch pannel for everything else. I also have a brand spankin new Painless harness that I'm going to finally use since I've had it for almost 3 years now.

all you have to do in the WRX STi/Evos is get a boost ccontrloer and a sweet aftermarket blow off valve and turn upo the boost. you could easily have over 400 hp for a couple hundred dollars. plus it would be AWD so you wouldn't have to get slicks for it.

it would be nuts

Yeah, plus you still have to drop $30k on the car. For less than that I can pick up a C5 Vette with less than 30k miles.
