It depends on what you are trying to do with it. It depends on the big block. I am assuming you want a big block because you want a built but streetable big block that exceeds the performance of a high-strung small block. There's the problem of the 7 5/8 inch ring & pinion in the 10-bolt differential holding up to the gobs of torque. There's the torque arm suspension needing a place to hang on the back of the 700R4 transmission. There's the 700R4 transmission itself, and hanging it on the back of the big block. There's engine mount fabrication work. Heavier spring rates. maybe a slightly different length driveshaft. Custom headers and custom Y-piping to get it past the crossmember, oil pan, and across to the passenger side in order to hook into the exhaust system. There's clearance issues with the brake lines and proportioning valve in regards to those headers and valve covers. There may be some work involved in clearing the steering column to the steering gear. The air conditioning system will likely need to be removed and a non-AC heater box installed. There may need to be a raised hood like an aftermarket cowl induction to clear the carbuerator. A bigger radiator. Wiring harness simplification / modification. Modified engine accessory routing for the power steering pump.

Other than that, I'd imagine it's pretty much a bolt-in app.

I also did a quick google search and this turned up:

http://www.camarotech.com/Gen3-BigBlockSwap.html

You might find some more hints over there on what it takes to do this swap
