i just replaced the clutch and transmission on my 91 camaro. tried bleeding the clutch but it wouldnt fully disengage. there are no leaks in the clutch line but i ordered a new slave cylinder. what is the proper way to bleed the line?

The easiest way I use is to leave the slave unbolted from the bellhousing and cycle it by hand under the car.
With minimum fluid in the master reservoir, I do that by grabbing the slave body, angling it so that the side with the hydraulic line is the highest point (so that the air can escape) and SLOWLY pushing the piston in and then SLOWLY releasing it.
Then I check the fluid and do it a few more times until I see that the fluid level has stabilized and is not dropping.

Then I cycle it a few more times (until I don't hear any bubbles).
If you go too fast, you will either squirt hydraulic fluid all over your engine bay or you will suck in air and you'll have to start over.

Once the slave is bled, you can bolt it to the bellhousing and test it out. The pedal should feel firm, not squishy.
