88 IROC 5.7 Cam (Engine Rebuild)
I have an 88 IROC 5.7... I am getting the engine rebuilt and was wondering if there are any suggestions and/or info anyone could give. I would like to put a mild cam but was wondering if there is such a thing and if so is this possible (without having to do a computer change, gear change (rear end), torque converter change, etc.). If so... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

a comp 08-300-8 would do great and no changes. use comp 981 springs and you'll be good to go. a set of headers and cat back will do a lot too.
