Is the 3 Row Radiator worth it?

Is the 3 Row Radiator worth it?
Has anyone bought a 3 Row Radiator? I was thinking of getting the stock replacement but for $40 more I can get a three row instead of a lil One row. Does it cool better than the 1 row? I have heard alot of complaints on cooling on our Thirdgens. I just dont want to be throwing money at the car for this 3 row not to be taken advantage of. If anything I will just buy the 3 row to test it out then put one on my Firebird as well. BTW, the 3 row will be going into an 86 IROC Z28 TPI 305 Auto with a 160 Stat and a bypass on the TB.
Thanks,

I'd consider the 1" or 1.25" 2 row Griffin for an upgrade. I think the 1" is rated for 400 hp and the 1.25 is rated for about 600 (I called Griffin long ago, I beleive that is what they told me). If you are looking for an upgrade, those are great radiators.
I have no experience with the stock style 3 row, so I can't say if that will help or not. Maybe someone who has tried it will drop in here next.

I had a custom 2 core made and it was night and day cooling diferance. I was going to go with a 3 core but I just got a larger core and stayed with 2.
Definatly money well spent if you need to replace the rad anyway.

My condenser cools but it is kinda beat up. That would impeade air flow. Soooo, make sure your radiator gets plenty of fresh air. If the condenser is kinda smooshed up from rocks, etc, that might have to be straightened out with a radiator comb.
