i have a 1982 indianapolis 500 camara. it has a 350 engin and a turbo 350 trany i have been trying and researching to see if this might of been one that ran the track as the pace car being it has all the specs that those cars had. i was wondering if there was anything like the vin number or something that could tell me if this is a replica or one of the real cars. please help

There were only two official pace cars built with 350s, light bars, etc. that ran at the race.

GM has one in the Heritage Museum and the other is at the 500 Museum at the speedway. A lot of people have ripped out the original 305 motors of the replicas over the years and replaced them with, well, everything.
