The previous Camaro SS 1LE was one of our favorite Camaro variants. Now the performance package is coming to the one with two fewer cylinders. That means you can have a 1LE V6 with 335 horsepower and a stick. Still can’t decide which performance muscle car to buy ? Well, Chevrolet just made that choice harder.

I think the new 2017 Camaro 1LE is incredible. A few notes from the press conference I was at yesterday on the car:

1 -Krypton Green is concept color, but if there is enough interest could be made.
2 - V8 model Camaro's will ONLY be available in 1SS form. There will be some 2SS things on this 1LE model though like HUD.
3 - V8 car gets the electronic diff ala the Corvette.
4 - PDR (Performance Data Recorder) will be offered as an option for the first time on a 6th Gen Camaro on these models.
5 - Recaro's now standard with 1LE on V8 model - optional on V6.
6 - Dual mode exhaust is standard on both V6 and V8 models.
7 - Manual transmission ONLY on both models
8 - Pricing should be available early summer, and production should start late calendar year 2016.

Krypton Green looks excellent. I'd happily take a 1SS 1LE in that color!
