I remember reading someplace that there is a tool needed now to program the TPMS on the 2012 Camaros.

Anyone have the write up? I went to the 45th anniversary edition menu and noticed under the tire pressure settings that you can't clear them and relearn them now.

I never had a problem doing that on my 2010 going from Summer to Winter tires.

i have to take mine in to tthe dealership to have my new sesnors relearned. it doesnt take them long. i dont think you can go from 1 programmed sensor to another and have it pick up. i had my 22's programmed to my car and when i would put my 20's on fro track events, the sensors never picked back up on the stock wheels.

Camaroscotty said he thinks I have to take it to the dealership. I wonder if there is a service charge for that though.

My wife's cousins husband is a GM technician so I sent him a message asking if there was anything (like open and close the door 5 times, press on the gas a couple times) to initiate the old sequence of the car learning the TPMS.

I guess too many people couldn't handle learning their own TPMS GM decided to take it out.

there shouldnt be a charge. tell them it doesnt work...its under warranty.

For LS tires not purchased with the car switched out to winter?
I don't know the dealer might be cool and just do it, as it would take probably like 5 minutes of time.

yup...just tried it out. worked great...i added a few things that you missed.

Just took a ride up in the 45th and got a chance to read the manual. You need a tpms relearn tool to do this on the 2012 models.

So now to find one of these.

I also noticed the stereo shows different pictures for the climate controls. I will try and take a picture.

A question regarding the radio...if you put in a Metra kit with a double din radio, how would you manage the climate control. Anyone install a Metra kit in a 2012 yet?

Don't you have the Meta kit installed?
