Power loss
Looking for help. I was heading home from work last week and my car shut down on me. The cluster with my speedometer etc went black and the car lost all power. Funny thing is that the radio display was still active and operating. I had no signals or anything and almost got hit. I was able to get to the side of the road, turned the key to the off position for 10secs and then turned the car over and away it went. The check engine light was on. I took it to the dealer and when the pulled it in the garage, the check engine light went out and when hooked to the diagnostics, it showed no errors or nothing. They could give me no explanation. I am on my own.
Could you camaro enthusiasts assist me in some explanation for this hiccup. Love the car though.

Of course it is. Only a 5th-gen owner would think their Camaro is the singular representative model of a Camaro
Firegod,
As Jason is alluding to, there was a recall for this problem when the cars first shipped in spring '09. Have the car towed to your nearest GM dealer.
