Issue with 2010
Ok I have a 2010 SS bought in when they first came out only has 4500miles. Dont drive it much between winters and such. Sometimes I dont even drive it weekly.
But if it sits for more than a day or two this is what happens. Engine fires and idels fine.
But after pulling out of driveway the front end shutters almost like a bad rotor, but then goes away after about a 2-3miles. Ive checked the air pressure and they are at 33-34.
I thought wheel balance but I dont think so because it would happen all the time. My only other thought is are the tires settling in a spot or are the rotors get junked up and sticking to the caliper. Any thoughts anybody have this happen.
No smells, no checks engine lights. Again engine and tranny operate fine.

Its not flat spotting of the tires is it?
The stock Pirellis are real notorious for that. I remember when I first drove the Camaro to Florida and it sat in the parking lot for a week while I was on the cruise I was freaked out, but it went away.
There is actually a TSB involving the tires that states this about the stock Pirellis.
Here is something else I noticed about stock pirellis. Wash your car put it away and if there is moisture on the tires when you put it away, my car is glued to the floor of the garage.
The winter tires don't do that as soon or flat spot as much, but I've noticed if they sit longer this will happen.

Jesus. why would you own a new camaro and only drive it once a week?? I'd like to know where people get all this money to own so many cars and have $30k+ cars as toys. I guess it's working for government because no one in the private sector is making that kind of money.
