Installing Cold Air Inductions intake: Use hair dryer for heat shrink?
I received my Cold Air Inductions intake, yesterday, and plan to put it on today.
The heat shrink that connects the crankcase breather with an extension tube is supposed to be shrunk with a heat gun. Should I buy a heat gun for the only one time I'm ever likely to use it? Or, would a hair dryer set on hot do the job?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I have used a hair dryer before. It works okay.
Do you have a Harbor Freight near you? They have a decent heat gun for cheap:

I bought that one and it works very well.

Jason's right, the hairdryer worked "ok." It shunk the heat-shrink down nice and tight around the connection, but it didn't shrink it all the way to the smaller tube. Works fine, functionally tight, but I'll find a shop with a heat gun to finish it right before I show off under the hood.
