Help from Injuneer or someone with 2014 Speed limiter

I have a 2014 Camaro 2SS I understand it is speed limited to 155 MPH. I am looking for an electrical whiz that knows how to put a resistor in the speed signal to half the speed or trick the limiter to get around it for one day. I dont want to void my warranty by getting a tune, but I also want to go to the Loring speed day in Maine to see what it will do unrestricted. Does anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this?

I don't know much about the later gen's, but typically the VSS signal is pulse-based, nothing to do with resistance. Why not just use a hand-held tuner to alter the speed limiter field, and return it to stock at the end of the day. No way anyone could tell you did that.

Keep in mind, the speed limiter is usually based on the speed rating of the tires. Make sure you tires are rated for whatever top speed you expect to reach.

Unfortunately GM can tell if the PCM has been tuned and returned to stock.

There are threads on Camaro5 about it.

To the OP...... the car can only get to 168mph stock with the limiter removed.

These things are bricks, drag is your limiting factor.
