Exhaust comparisons

Exhaust comparisons
I have asked around about good exhaust systems and the answer is usually it's about preference.. I have also looked around the web for exhaust systems, but am having trouble finding sound clips of them.
So my suggestion would be to have a thread, or page, with different types of exhaust systems with sound clips, for all the different models of Camaros.
This would mean one place we could go to, for different exhaust systems from all kinds of manufacturers, and having comparisons right at our fingertips. This could also attract many new Camaro owners who are looking for a little customization, or even older ones who just want a change.
I would be happy to assist in creating this thread/page if need be.

Re: Exhaust comparisons
This thread doesn't really belong in this section.
That said, the correct forum and the answer to your question both depend on what kind of Camaro you have. If you have an LS1-powered car (1998-2002 Z28 or SS), LS1 Sounds - Your Comprehensive Exhaust Resource is a great resource.
Please let us know what kind of Camaro you have, and I (or one of the other mods) will then move this thread to the proper forum, where you'll be likely to get a more thorough answer.

Re: Exhaust comparisons
Oh, so we're talking about 5th gen V6 cars? Okay. Most of the big vendors have audio clips on their websites. Check Corsa, Borla, and Magnaflow -- I'm pretty sure they all do. YouTube is another good resource.
EDIT: Corsa keeps most of their soundclips on YouTube. Here's the V6 5th gen Camaro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6jWZwBdXQM
Borla also has a YouTube channel, but I didn't find a V6 5th gen clip there. Here's one made by an owner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukcmPW2IxbY
Ditto for Magnaflow - they have a channel, but I didn't find your car. Owner vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUnTNgcXV2g
IMO, based on those three videos, Magnaflow is too quiet and Borla has too much drone at low RPMs. Corsa wins.
