Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can

Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
After 4000 miles of driving (6400 kms) I decided to check my oil catch can.
It's nice to know the catch can is working extremely well.

Re: Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
Yup...that is a lot of oil. I have one from Elite Engineering and I am just wrapping up the install and video review of it. As soon as it is done, I will post it.
Clearly, they do work and their design is very smart.
The question is...do you pour the oil back in the crankcase? I heard it is okay to do...but to me it sorta feels like reusing coffee grounds.

Re: Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
Nope. There is always crankcase oil vapor going from the engine back into the intake to be "burned". That is the function of the PCV system, but a lot that oil vapor never makes it to the point of being burned, and gums up the works.
