Driving the 2010 Camaro

I wanted to share and read about other Camaro owners' experience driving the new Camaro. First of all, when I first got it, it was raining but I had to take it out. The dealer said I had to bring it back for some kind of coating so I wouldn't have to wax it for 7 years??? Well I was of course taking it easy at first the owners manual says not to go over 4000 rpm for awhile, butttt come on who can restrain themselves with 400 ponies. Well driving it isn't the same as my 72 elky or 95 z28 drop top. First of all its all computerized so it eliminates wheel hop. I havent laid rubber yet because the owners manual says not to do this and that and to change the fluids etc.... But anyway I love driving it on the freeway it gets up and go. Every mustang owner to honda gives me the thumbs up. Some people seem more excited than me just to see it. I've got it up to 120 with ease its so smoooooth and it sounds great I'll try to get some video up with my wifes help. When I drove thru the toll both the lady was to busy asking about the car she acted like there wasn't 10 cars behind me. Also so many people pull up to take pictures of it a couple of idiots almost ran into me. Thats how I found out for the first time how great the 14" breaks work. Well if anyone else has one please share with me your experience.

JasonD I thought there would be more guys at this site with the Newer Camaro. I see your expecting a rs/ss. Let me tell you these car are really fast. I was coming home from Safeway supermarket with my sons and I spotted a new and about a 99 cobra playing around and smoking the tires so I caught up to them and ended up next to the Cobra at a stop sign. Well he smoked the tires will the newer stang was be hind me. We he stopped he motioned me to go. He was about my age 39. So we took off!!! I blew the doors waaayyyyy off his stang and when he caught up at the next stop sign all he could say was Sh**t that was Fast. He truely was loving the Camaro. If anyone wants to check it out I'll be at Elk Grove Mikes Dinner 5/5/09. I love showing this car off to all my Camaro Brothers out there. By the way it was a straight away no kids or dogs aroun could see everything..

A 12.95 car might be considered fast where you live ...... but it sure isn't in my neighborhood ...
