Hey guys I just bought a 2015 1LE & I need your help. I'm looking to get more power out of my Maro, I will be getting stainless works headers and CAI soon. I'm looking to cam my car also what would I need ? Other than the cam and what cam is good. Also a website that's trusted where I can buy aftermarket parts.

Good to hear you picked up the 1LE. Unfortunately, this site has reached the point where the primary technical focus is the 4th Gen LT1 cars. We are very light on 5th Gen owners. Might take a while to get a response.

What you need along with your cam upgrade depends strongly on what cam you want, which in turn depends on your goals and budget.

A cam upgrade and corresponding tune can increase peak power on the LS3 by anywhere from 20-150hp, with various other supporting mods needed depending on where you land in that range. The bigger you go, the more you'll sacrifice in terms of cold start behavior, drivability, and RPM range of the power band.

In general, you should describe what you want the car to be like after you've installed the mods, rather than what mods you think you might want to install. Tell us if you want to cruise the street, dominate the drag strip, tear up some parking lot autocrosses, or test your skills on a road course. Tell us whether a loud, angry exhaust note and a lumpy cam are desirable or should be avoided. And finally, give us an idea of what you'd like to spend. It'll also help to know whether you have a manual or automatic transmission.

Oh, and please don't call it a Maro. That's just terrible.

Katech Performance Parts, they helped design the LS7 and KNOW the LS series engines, all of their work is some of the best in the industry. I built up an LS7 C6Z06 thru them at 670 HP; great car to start...to a snarling demon of an engine 12K later. They have all sort of upgrades from engine to tranny to suspension/coilovers....they are the best; better than Ligenfelter.
