I'll take that bet, every other GM car has an AUX in there is no reason the Camaro won't. Especially since it has been mentioned the a great stereo was important to the developement team.

Oh come on. This is hardly news.
The SS version will so own the Challenger -- even the SRT8 -- until Dodge upgrades the 6.1.
It's about the same weight and more power than the BMW 650i. Less power and about the same weight as the M6 but then it's just a little cheaper
If you want a couple of hundred pounds lighter (and down 70hp), there's the G37 for your consideration.
It looks pretty good to me!

3750 is fat for a v8 let alone a v6/ If that is the case the v8 will be a pig. Shame on you Scott. Keep the faith my ***. What an overgrown pig. Pony boy my *** when the the 5.0 hits the streets. You will eat your words. What a letdown. The camaro has been out for three friggen years because of the fear of rejection. Im not impressed.
I will wait till Monday but im not impressed. You may eat your wrods this time with the Mustang and I love the small block chevy. Im sick about the weight. You guys screwed up. Im holding out until its all official of course but its kinda obvious.
Crap.

oh come on...wake up, all cars are getting heavier, not lighter...it certainly isn't Scott's fault. You're calling the car a "pig" and you havn't even seen it in person yet (or gotten the official specs).
There are ways to shed weight if you're that worried about it. I'm sure the 'stang will gain some weight in the coming years, and the difference will only be a few 100 lbs...big 'effin deal, get over it.

The exterior is awesome. The interior shots definately look better than the old "spy shots" from a couple of months ago. Would prefer a bit different look, but very nice regardless. Torque guage is silly, and I'm not much of a gadget person, but those are just minor details. Oh ya, headlights look great. Again, minor detail in my eyes, but they do enhance the look of the car.
The Edmunds article mentioned skip-shift. Really? Yikes. Hopefully it will be as easy to disable as the one in my 4th gen. Interestingly is says that this keeps the TR6060 SS out of 'Gas Guzzler' territory. I wonder about the A6? Reading further, it says 15/23 mpg, and mentions that is identical to the Challenger R/T. I do remember a thread going around recently on how the SS's mileage should exceed the Dodge's, given the LS series reputation for gas sipping (on the highway), the the Hemi's reputation for gulping gas, and the approx 200 lb weight difference.
Perhaps I'm jumping the gun on that one, and should wait for the official EPA estimates.
All that said....I cannot get over the 2 ton+ (once you're in the driver's seat) weight of the car. Sucks to be me I guess.
Also, and I guess I knew it was coming, but this sure takes some of the excitement off of Indy.
Great job on the look of the car, though. It is visually stunning.

Thats what I am thinking as well. This car should dip into the 12's stock and if this car is priced with or a little above a Mustang GT That is a Bargain.

So if I am reading things right the Auto SS will have a Ative fuel managment and the 6 speed stick will not? Can you not have the AFM with a stick? Will the efficiency of the Stick make the MPG the same as the Auto with AFM?
I see that Dodge has two different engines at well for the R/T with a auto verse a stick.

I thought the same thing you're probably thinking .
Might be an issue with side curtain airbags requirements maybe? Even so, if there is still a market for T-Tops, it probably wouldn't take long for the aftermarket to come up with something.
....personally, even though I've always like T-Tops, I wouldn't want to "butcher" my car for them.
