When are you getting your Camaro?
#3
Definately have to order on the 13th. The dealership I'm ordering from isn't selling for over MSRP so there's really no point to wait for pricing since we all know it's going to be competitively priced with the Mustang. If you can afford a 2009 GT, then you can probably afford a base SS with a few options.

Was originally planning on buying after the initial mad rush was over late summer 2009 or thereabouts. Now the wait will be indefinate with the economy being what it is. I work in commercial land development so you can imagine what business is like right now.

I've always been the type of person that is drawn to the most expensive toy in the store. So, with that in mind, I'm going to wait to see what all the extra-cost options are going to do to the final cost. I have to balance the car payment with my college loans. Who knows- I might break down and order one before pricing comes out, but I have to try to resist.

Fbodfather and some others from GM have all said it will be inline with the Mustang pricing. It has to be in order to compete. Having said that you can pick up a brand new Corvette coupe for under 41k because the market is so soft. Since there won't be significant mark downs on Camaro for a while the gap between a loaded Camaro and stripped Corvette will be relatively small. Kinda makes you think.

I'm still a few years out, yet.
I want them to work all the bugs out, I want to be able to pick the car up for under invoice, I want the convertible, I want to see what the economy is going to do, and I want to be closer to the end of my Solstice's loan.
So maybe 2012-2013.

Waiting for pricing mainly because I want to see what other options are available and how much they'll set me back.
So far I've decided I want an orange RS/SS LS3-M6 with orange/black interior and center console. Once pricing is set, including how much the extras will cost, I plan to place my order. (No longer waiting for HUD or Z28.)
