I'm wondering why it became a factory option as well as dealer. Maybe because it was such a popular option?

It may be that the parts aren't available at all right now. I could be a supplier issue. As to the spoiler...did I miss something? As far as I know, it's only dealer installed and shouldn't affect production.

They are making the Hurst shifter a factory installed option (as well as dealer) so it can be added during initial build and appear on the window sticker as such. The holdup is simply to get their act together for install on the assembly line; a few weeks delay at most.

i cancelled it off my order. ill just buy it on ebay later for half the price.

Exactly! Those accessory options that they are offering are a ripoff, the ones that we actually know prices for.
