Well for one thing we will not be able to call the Camaro's fbody any more because it won't be one now but will be a camaro with camaro DNA in its looks but even Scott said long ago Firebird was not on hietus and would not be back it was gone.

That's a different scenario altogether. The two vehicles do not fight for the same sales turf as they are half a world away from each other... besides, the cars almost look identical excepting the front bumber assy.

Isn't what's killing GM today (noted repeatedly during the Zarella years) the legacy of its past mistakes when it gave each of its divisions near duplicate and uninspiring vehicles?

That concept looks really nice, blows the Camaro concept away IMO. I wish GM would do this car for Pontiac if they do the Camaro. That thing just looks awesome!!
