Yes, thoughts are though that 2 V6's and 1 V8 will be released in 2009 then the next year the tp end V8 and vert will be released. Of course it is all speculation.

Camaro will be available in the 1st quarter of 2009 -- not 2008.

We have not said how many engines there will be. (and the number given was wrong, by the way.....)

I'll say it again -- there is nothing I'd like better than to share some great info. with my fellow enthusiasts. That said, it would be foolish of me to do so -- and frankly, I think most, if not all of you, want Camaro to be the best choice out there.........

(and if you don't want it to be the best, I have a fleet of black suburbans............)

Make no mistake -- the stakes are higher now than they've ever been for GM.......

.........so I beg your indulgence.

(remember when I kept saying 'keep the faith?' -- did I lead you wrong???)

And lastly - about that Challenger. -- It was approved, as I recall, before the Camaro was (for production) and it's off an existing platform........therefore, you can expect to see it on the dealer's showroom floor first......

--one last thought--

If you have any questions as to where the Camaro is headed -- simply ask one of the "Disciples" who were invited to Milford to drive the concept -- and take part in an in-depth study of Camaro...........

They won't give you any specifics -- but I think they'll tell you that we understand what you want...........

GM does not want to tip their hand to the competition......this is a big poker game -- and someone could, eventually, go out of business-- this business is very competitive.

I personally do not want Ford or Chrysler or Toyota to know much about our products........

Yes - I'd love to share all I know with you -- but if I did, it would only be a matter of time before it was worldwide...........

Yea some of people on line have BIG Figers & can type really fast, lol See ya in 2 weeks Scott, Dans unable to come due to duty that weekend.

So does that mean my "top dog" Camaro won't be available until 3rd quarter 2010?

I believe the Skyline is a Nissan product. But, I have seen some show cars for lexus that are sporty... but I don't want one. I want it to be 2009 already
