I actually have a friend who works for GM, he insists that the Camaro nameplate will not be coming back.

No matter how many times I tell him, he still doesn't believe me.

Well I said 2010. 5 years out.

Is 3 years out any reason to start saving my pennies?

That's what I'm not looking forward to.

I know I'm going to want one - but I also believe it will be out of the common mans reach.

Damn.

GM may have been 'careful' about what to call their RWD coupe, but if it comes out looking like those photos, there's no way it could be called Chevelle over Camaro.

and my question to more than a few on this board is this:

Absolutly. If I remember, there wasn't too many who said it would never come back but will any of those people step up and admit they were wrong?

Re: Things we (fortunately) won't be hearing any more.

My Ex girlfriend is in hell right now. She was a avid Mustang lover and loved to hate on my favorite car of all time. Now she has to eat crow by admitting she was wrong hehehe. Thank you Scott and everyone at GM for bringing it back. The satisfaction knowing I'll own a new one a few years down the road is worth it

I was one of the doubters that you are referring too, but I also said that this was one instance where I hope that Chevrolet proves me wrong.

And when the car starts showing up on showrooms at the stealerships, I will.
