A thank you to GM, Scott, etc.

I just wanted to throw up my own specific thank you to the folks at General Motors and to Scott and his assistant for pulling off the Camaro enthusiast invasion at NAIAS.

I know this took a lot of resources (both $$ and human) and a lot of strings had to be pulled within GM and with NAIAS to get us in. Let me assure you that this isn't unappreciated.

I think it occured to all of us there just how special the moment was, and how lucky we were to be there. I hope some of the GM top brass realize how dedicated and loyal a following the F-cars have, and how stupid it would be to squander that loyalty.

I never buy new cars, but I'm already working on how I'm going to swing a new Camaro. Make mine Silver, just like the show car

I agree with Chris. I had a great time this weekend. It was very evident that you and your associates put a lot of hard work into making this thing possible. The Heritage center and NAIAS show were awesome. It was great to meet you and Jim also. Keep up the good work. I am pooling my resources in anticipation of purchasing a camaro if/when they come out.

As did I.

During the roll-out of the actual car, I was mixed in with some GM execs, and they all heard and saw my response when I was able to lay eyes on the car.

One of them said "I don't know if I can stand here waiting for 15 more minutes" when the 15-minute announcement was made.

I replied, "Try waiting 3 years."

I think that best sums up how I feel about this opportunity. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and truly an experience that I will NEVER forget.

I can't even begin to put into words the amount of appreciation that I have for the chance to be a part of this.

Thanks to you, and to all the others who put it together and worked so hard to get so many of us there.

In the crunch you guys came up with a car that seems to me to just be a head and shoulders effort above both the counterparts.

I say crunch.... well... crunch as in several years, lol. I forgive ya though!

I am in agreement with everyone on this post. Thanks a million to GM and Chevrolet, and please have it available by end of 2006 as a 2007 model, and I will also take mine in silver, just like the concept.
